The Doodler

Hi, I’m Heather! I read more than one book about every U.S. president. Out of spite. I was dubbed “America’s Preeminent Presidential Doodler” by one of my favorite authors and I’ve been repeating it ever since. Through this series, I accidentally discovered I’m related to Presidents Adams and Coolidge. When I’m not reading or doodling, I’m a freelance graphic designer and illustrator.
The Series

This is going to be fun. I filled hundreds of sketchbook pages doodling my way through presidential biographies. It made me more curious and turned me into an insufferable presidential nerd. Each month, I’m bringing my sketchbook to life so we can get to know each of these guys better.
